On World Sight Day

We raise awareness of the importance of eye health and the prevention of blindness. According to the World Health Organization, over 2.2 billion people worldwide have a vision impairment, of which over 1 billion could have their vision restored with proper treatment. We can all play a role in preventing blindness by getting regular eye exams, wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes from the sun, and eating a healthy diet. We can also support organizations that are working to provide eye care to those in need. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of millions of people around the world who are affected by vision impairment.
